Southfield Mezzanine Capital is a Greenwich, Connecticut-based mezzanine investment firm that launched its dedicated mezzanine strategy in 2013 as a Small Business Investment Company (SBIC), raising approximately $100 million in its inaugural fund. Part of the broader Southfield Capital organization (founded 2002), the firm provides both debt and equity investments across the lower middle market, targeting U.S.-based businesses with at least $3 million in EBITDA. Southfield invests $5-20 million per platform in unitranche and subordinated debt, preferred and common equity for acquisition and growth financings and recapitalizations in both sponsored and non-sponsored deals, and is industry-agnostic in its approach.
